The time I went to Walmart for the keys to the demon prison.

On march 23 of 2010 ''Keys to the demon prison'' the fifth and final book in Brandon mull's ''Fablehaven'' series was released. Me and My buddy Mitch were so desperate to go to the launch party for it. luckily we had a friend that was going to go so we somehow managed to hitch a ride with his family.

We were at his house at the time that they asked, for some reason we had to wait for almost an hour and a half for before our friend got home before we left. luckily his little sister was watching a movie called felicity (a movie I hope to never watch ever again). so we didn't die of boredom.

By the time that we got to the launch party we had found out that the book was selling for about $21 I had scraped every last penny in my house and racked up about $16.74 Ahh I was so upset I didn't have enough money for it.

And so my quest began, I was going to buy that book no matter what it took. one problem though, I didn't have enough money. I went to a store every day of  the next week and no visit was as memorable as the one to Walmart. I had gone to Walmart and I could not find the book. I was not very happy it was supposed to be the cheapest one, the one I could actually afford. so I went to an employee  and asked her ... and I quote ... ''do you have the keys to the demon prison''... Her reaction was PRICELESS. After all I had indeed just asked if she had the keys to the demon prison. she was about to ask me if I was on drugs before I explained that it was a book. a book that was supposed to be in that very Walmart building and I was supposed to be  able to afford it. unfortunately I didn't get the book that day.

I had to wait a couple more days before I could finally get the book. but the moral of the story is :don't ask a random person if  and I quote:'' if they have the keys to the demon prison''. they will never look at you the same way ever again.
